Johanna has been a practitioner of Yoga from an early age (12), beginning her study and regular practice with Hatha and Surat Shabd (light and sound) Yoga from the lineage of Guru Nanak passed through Sawan Singh, to Kirpal Singh. She received a clear and vibrant vision of Gurunath Siddhanath at the age of 17, only to meet him in person when she was 38. He has been guiding her inner journey from her earliest days. She has received initiations from Thakar Singh, Ajaib Singh, Shiva Bali Yogi, and Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath. She is an avid student of the ancient Holy Scriptures of Vashistha's Yoga, and teaches the Surya upon direct request. She gives Kriya empowerments when appropriate, and supports her students personally and lovingly as guided by her Gurunath Siddhanath. Johanna is also a great devotee of our Gurumata, Shivangini, who's continuing presence she is eternally grateful for. Johanna has worked and studied many years in multiple indigenous spiritual traditions and supports the ceremony and worship containers of original lineages from South Americans, Native Americans and East Indians through the oldest and deepest of unbroken ancient traditions. Her first allegiance is to Kriya and Hamsa Yoga through the Nath Sampradaya, as she has been shown the unity and original yogic-root-source of all spiritual lines through natural law from the guidance of Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath. On occasion Johanna will provide healing sessions if directly requested, as per the directions and through the sacred empowerment of Gurunath Siddhanath in the name of Shiv Goraksha Babaji through our Lord Shiva (shinning as our spiritual sun). Her daily prayers and meditations serve as a constant request for the healing of our humanity into it's inherent wholeness. A co-founder of WomenRise For Global Peace, she is also very active politically as part of her service to humanity. |
