IN THAT SENSE, HE IS A NATH YOGI AS WELL AS A KRIYA YOGI AND HAS HIS OWN TRADITION AND TEACHINGS OF KRIYA YOGA.  DO NOT GO TO ANY NATH BRANCH OF YOGIS AND EXPECT TO FIND HIS REFERENCE THERE.  HE TEACHES ALONE AND IS BLESSED BY THE SUPREME BABAJI WHO IS THE FINAL AUTHORITY OF ALL THE NATH BRANCHES AS WELL AS ALL THE BRANCHES OF KRIYA YOGA.

ALTHOUGH HE DID HAVE THE GUIDANCE OF SOME GREAT MASTERS LIKE THE AVATAR ANANDAMAYI MA THEN THE AVATAR SHIVA BALA YOGI, PARAMAHANSA HARIHARANANDA GIRI, THEN SIDDHA GAGANGIRI NATH, NEEM KAROLI BABA, AND THE GREAT KRIYA YOGI SATYA CHARAN LAHIRI, AND FINALLY BY SATYANANDA GIRI, THE GREAT DISCIPLE OF THE GYANAVATAR YUKTESWAR.  SO BESIDES THE DIVINE SANCTION OF BABAJI, HE ALSO HAS THE PRACTICAL SANCTION OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED MASTERS.
